Little Miss Chloe Skye LeFevre was born on at 4:26pm April 7, 2011, 9lb 3oz, 21 1/4 long. Stacey & John gave me the privilege of my first foray into newborn photography. Chloe was a lot more awake and alert than I expected with a newborn. She was so curious about the world around her. These were taken at a week old.

Of course, in about 23 weeks, I’ll have my own photography subject to practice on 😉 I haven’t been very good at updating this blog since we found out and with the move into the new house, this got pushed to the back burner.

So here’s what been going on 🙂
Week 4, size of a poppyseed.
Week 5, size of an apple seed.
Week 6, size of a sweet pea.
Week 7, size of a blueberry.
Week 8, size of a raspberry.
8 weeks, 3 days.
Week 9, size of an olive.
Week 10, size of a prune.
Week 11, size of a lime.
Week 12, size of a plum.
12 weeks, 1 day.
Week 13, size of a peach.
Week 14, size of a lemon.
Week 15, size of a navel orange.
Week 16, size of an avocado.
16 weeks 3 days.
Week 17, size of an onion.
By Sunday, we should be at a sweet potato at 18 weeks.

Still no guesses on boy versus girl, sorry everyone!

The house is coming along great…well, until yesterday… Our siding is finished. Our chimney is finally complete. Rico has almost finished taming the backyard. Decks…not so much. So apparently, our contractors never submitted plans for permits (they were replacing existing decks, though not making any size changes) and since they actually tore the decks down and weren’t just repairing existing damage, they need permits. So as of yesterday afternoon, we have a Stop Work Order notice glaring at us from the temporary stairs on the front of the house. We may be at a standstill for a while, unfortunately. So with that said, no pictures of the new house quite yet.

I’ll try to be better about updating everyone 🙂
