The winds picked up last night for our first major windstorm of the wet season. Our power started flickering around 8pm and finally blacked out around 10pm. The power was still out when I left for work at 7:30 this morning. The winds knocked out power to about 100,000 homes in western Washington.

Once I got to work (yes they had power), I found out that there apparently was an earthquake in Mossyrock, WA, about 75 miles south of us.

To top it all off, we’re expecting snow this weekend! Craziness!
